HUNG JURY

As a result of a pre-trial motion, my client’s BAC result was excluded from the jury trial. Upon hearing the remaining evidence, the jury was deadlocked. Weeks later, the case was reduced to a non-DUI reckless driving.

Corporal Injury to Spouse

NOT GUILTY

With scratches on his back, police arrested my client for having caused her boyfriend’s injuries. He testified – she asserted her Fifth Amendment right and was found not guilty.

DUI with 2 Priors

NOT GUILTY

Police responded to the scene of an accident and found my client in the driver seat. When asked who drove, he calmly replied, “Captain America.” He was found not guilty. It is unknown if the real Captain America will be charged.

DUI, .08 BAC

Police observed my teenage client doing donuts in a parking lot and later tested .08 BAC. The jury was persuaded by my argument about the requisite skill to pull off such a maneuver. Needless to say, he was found not guilty on all counts.

Can you believe it? My client, a grandmother, was charged with a crime when her dog got out of the house! The jury agreed that this was not a crime and returned a not guilty verdict in less than 30 minutes.

SPLIT VERDICT

Following a four-day jury trial, the jury was persuaded that my client was not impaired. However, the jury returned a split verdict.

Armed with a champagne glass, my client was charged with multiple felonies, including great bodily injury. The day of trial, one count was dismissed and the other was reduced to a misdemeanor.

My client was charged with three felonies, one of which was attempted robbery, a strike. The jury returned a split verdict.

Single felony strike was alleged against my veteran client. The jury found him not guilty of felony criminal threats, and returned verdict on a lesser charge.
